Can you pack one bag for a couple of months?
Can you put there your kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and all rest making it your home? Try it. Not easy at all. But what fun!
First of all you have to think what you need. Then resign from 2/3 of that and leave the rest on the table. Come back after two days and get rid of another useless things. Next day the same. After one week there is a possibility that your backpack is ready for the trip.
Want some more magic tricks?
Limit your backpack bathroom to minimum. Leave hair conditioner, hand cream, pumice, moisturizing face cream, hair spray, body lotion, hair dryer, liquid for intimate hygiene, colognes, foam, sponge and nail cutters XXL. All the things you need is a little bit of shampoo, soap, toothpaste and toothbrush. Litlle towel and small nail cutters also can also be useful. Foam flip-floaps, very helpful in the rocky bottom rivers or car parking showers.
Kitchen? Travel mug, plastic or aluminium cuttlery, immersion heater, light 2l pot in which you can cook everything except turkey, some salt and pepper and dried fruits.

Wardrobe. Yeah, sorry but you have to bear the tremendous burden of another pair of trousers - in the case of rain. 10 pairs of panties? What for? Your taking best washing machine in the world with you - your hands. Take only 4. The same with the socks. Even if where you are right now is nice and cosy, take warm, wind and waterproof clothes. In some amazingly shitty moment you will Highfive yourself shouting: "I'M SO CLEVER!!!"
Bedroom. Sleeping mat, sleeping bag and tent, gloves, winter hat and tights. Please, do not take a pillow. It's usseles, believe me...
What else? Matches, maps, water, a knife and a little bit of free space for souvenirs. All that should be fitted in a 80l backpack.
Good luck with your bag!
